The Piece will be in 3D with stretchy cartoony movement Similar to that of movies such as Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs and The Incredibles. It will feature a vivid color palette influenced by Shrek and the paintings of Pierre Auguste Cot. During the film, a large moving stage springs up out of the background and re-enacts tales that are told within the story. Elements of this stage are influenced by the Video Game, Little Big Planet, 50s style Disney animation and the Music Video for the song, It's Not the End of the World by Super Furry Animals.

A knight named Sir Phineas is slowly riding down the road through a small village. As he rides, a bard spots him and runs after him. The Bard starts singing of his skills, looks and valor. Sir Phineas is at first confused about the strange person following him, but starts to enjoy the ego boost. The Bard Starts sing about a time where Sir Phineas Saved a town from a dragon when a large moving stage springs up behind them, cutout versions of the characters appear and start to re-enact what the bard is singing about.
Later in the day, Sir Phineas is riding looking tired and a little sick of the bard’s incessant singing and dancing. As he stops and starts to dismount for the night, the bard starts throwing passive aggressive insults at Sir Phineas about how he wasn’t going to stop because “he wasn’t a sniveling sissy” as if to encourage him to keep going. Phineas loses his temper and starts to storm over to confront the bard when a large shadow moves in to their path. Phineas notices the bard’s sudden uncharacteristic silence and turns around to see a Gargantuan troll. The set suddenly collapses as if to symbolize his illusion of greatness crumbling.
Suddenly the bard bursts back in to song singing about how Sir Phineas was the Slayer of trolls. Phineas, distraught, tries to run away but the bard sticks out his foot and sings about how Phineas bravely stood his ground. Phineas, getting desperate tries to snatch the lute out of the bard’s hands, but the bard still wants to play it. A scuffle ensues between the two. The troll looks on, a little put aback because he seems to have been forgotten.
Phineas and the Bard start to spin in circles trying to pull the lute from each other and Phineas loses his footing and starts spinning around just holding the lute. The Bard Loses Grip and Phineas is sent flying through the Air with the lute. Hurtling toward the troll, Phineas inadvertently smashes the lute on the troll’s head, knocking it out cold. Phineas Stunned at what just happened looks at the bard with appreciation and with renewed vigor, he and the Bard Continue down the road
The Ballad of Sir Phineas-Lyrics
Out of his Castle and in to the wood
rides a man who is righteous and daring and good
A man with unrivaled command of a blade
and looks that can mesmerize any young maid
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! That's his blessed name
And vanquishing evil is always his aim
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! With strength like an ox
Fearless and fetching and keen as a fox
Goblins and ogres and demons take heed
Sir Phineas approaches on his mighty steed
Once at a peaceful and quiet address
A large vicious dragon was causing distress
but in rode Sir Phineas brandishing steel
And he slayed the great dragon and ended the ordeal.
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! With might left to spare
He slayed the great dragon and didn't spoil his hair
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! The knight of the ages
Adventures are destined for history's pages.
Ogres and Minotaurs and other beasts are through
There isn’t a beast that he cannot subdue
(Later)
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! He rode down the road
He rode hard and fast and yet he never slowed
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! With energy boundless
he shall never quit, you can quote me on this
He wouldn't quit riding like a sniveling sissy
He'd ride on strong and stop being prissy
(Troll Appears)
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! The slayer of trolls!
Killing each last one was one of his goals
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! The best knight around.
He stared down the monster and he stood his ground
He raised up his sword and he charged the great brute
and he....
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! Too much to contain
You could fill up a castle with monsters he's slain
Sir Phineas! Sir Phineas! He's evil's death knell
charming and daring and noble as well
Now he rides peacefully in to the night
but evil will always be his endless fight.
